Job purpose
Themis is a fast-growing technology and services company with a world class AML/KYC SaaS tech platform that fills a gap in the AML Screening, Investigations and Ongoing Monitoring market.
In this role the BDM will develop, own and run deals at a tactical & mid-market level within UK CDOT and across several vertical markets with a strong focus on Financial Services and associated industries. Our Target market is extensive and includes banks, FinTechs, investment managers, payments companies, legal firms and real estate, to name but a few, giving a BDM a clear pathway to success in growing their territory, using their extensive sales experience and financial crime industry knowledge.

Responsibilities
- Drive ARR through the successful sale of new business.
- Originate, manage and close new business opportunities primarily within Financial Institutions across UK&I.
- Develop and grow a robust pipeline of potential deals.
- Articulate our value proposition to your prospect base.
- Demo our product professionally and skilfully.
- Use your first-class sales discovery skills to identify key client pain points and position the benefits of Themis as the product of choice to resolve their business challenges.
- Understand our product suite and articulate the USPs of all of our modules.
- Partner with a designated SDR, collaborating on cadence output and targeting your market via the SDR engine.
- Share with the Product Development team the market demands for product enhancements.
- Use HubSpot efficiently as the Customer Management system.
Experience required
- Have a proven track record of overachievement in a new business SaaS sales role for a start-up or scale-up business, with a minimum of three years hitting target.
- Experience of either using or selling different financial crime and compliance systems in the market or KYC platforms, or a complementary solution.
- Exposure to solution selling using a blend of products and services to create winning propositions over multi-year timeframes.
